Dhobi Ghat is an upcoming Hindi Movie by Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan’s wife. The film is both produced by Aami Khan & Kiran Rao. The famous music director from Argentina, Gustavo Santaolalla has been roped in to compose the movie’s musical score and lyrics. Dhobi Ghat is planned to release in cinemas on 21st January 2011. Dhobi Ghat (Mumbai Diaries) is the story of four people from very different backgrounds, whose worlds intersect and leave them forever altered. As they find themselves drawn into forceful relationships, the city finds it's way into the crevices of their lives, separating them even as it brings them closer. Arun (Aamir Khan), a brooding painter by profession, is a simple guy who loves being lost in the realms of art, while Munna (Prateik Babbar) is a young laundry boy with dreams of making it big at Bollywood. We then have Shai (Monica Dogra), an Indian-American banker, who is on a visit to India to meet her family. And finally, there’s Yasmeen (Kriti Malhotra), a young small-town girl from Uttar Pradesh who shifts to Mumbai after marriage.
